The Old Grist Mill is the most recognized structure on this property. The wheel and inner workings was restored in 2005. The wheel is powered by the flume that carries the water from the lake. This is controlled by a cut off valve at the base of the dam. The mill has been used for a variety of arts and crafts fairs as the biggest fair (Powers Crossroads) is only a few miles south of the property.
Back in the 1800's this was Coweta County's only mill. Families came from as far as their horse and buggy could carry them to get cornmeal.
The guest house is an A-Frame structure that is located in the front of the property. It offers seclusion as well as a fantastic view of the rock bedded creek. The large front deck faces the historic mill and water wheel. The A-frame has two bedrooms, one bath a full kitchen over a full unfinished basement.
Additionally, the A-Frame has it's own custom seperate garage
